A Welcome From Your Principal

Dear SVMS Families,
It is a pleasure to introduce myself to you. Having been an educator for 20 years, I am honored to serve as principal of Saucon Valley Middle School. SVMS is a unique school, serving both intermediate and secondary grades. The needs of a fifth grader are quite different from the needs of an eighth grader, which means my approach to leading the staff and students requires differentiation and flexibility. We have a dynamic and diverse student population and my goal as their principal is to recognize each student's strengths and potential.

For the 2023-2024 school year, my goal is to continue to build positive relationships with the students, staff, and parents. I learned a lot about our school community last year through parent input sessions, family surveys, and daily conversations with students and staff. All of our stakeholders want our school to be a positive environment where each student feels supported in their school work and social lives. Middle school is an important stage in a child's development and I am committed to ensuring they move on to high school with the academic and interpersonal skills to reach their fullest potential.
